Uttar Pradesh: SP Leader Azam Khan’s son Abdullah Azam arrested by police

Rampur: Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan’s son taken into custody by Uttar Pradesh police for presenting false documents for his passport.

Abdullah has been taken by the Rampur police to an unknown location.

He is under questioning in connection with giving wrong details in his passport. He was taken in after a BJP leader Akash Saxena alleged that Abdullah Khan obtained a passport on the basis of false documents.

According to police sources, Abdullah Khan has been booked under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 12 of the Passport Act.

Abdullah Khan represents the Suar constituency of Rampur district.
