Nottingham Forest will again be without Samba Sow when they go to Bournemouth tomorrow, but there is encouraging news around a trio of players.
Central midfielder Sow is yet to fully recover from a hamstring strain which kept him out of the defeat to Barnsley on Saturday.
Defenders Tyler Blackett and Joe Worrall will also miss the game, as will striker Lewis Grabban, but all three are close to a return to training.
“Tyler Blackett and Joe Worrall, we are hoping they will train at the end of the week or the beginning of next week, as will Lewis Grabban," manager Chris Hughton told Nottinghamshire Live.
“It will be good to have them back, although the first two might take a little while longer to get back, as they have missed a lot of football.
“But it will be good to see those three players back out on the training pitch."
Grabban has missed the last five games with a hip injury, while Worrall has not played this season due a foot problem. Injury has also prevented Blackett from featuring in any of Hughton's eight games in charge.
Sow is set to return soon, with Forest not keen to rush back a player with a history of injury problems at the club, although it is a knee which has troubled him previously.
One player who will hope to start is fellow midfielder Harry Arter having been an unused substitute against Barnsley.
He played more than 200 times in 10 years with Bournemouth but minor injuries have in part restricted him to just six appearances for Forest since joining this season.
