Souttar in Rangers injury fear as defender doesn't travel with Scotland squad

Souttar in Rangers injury fears as defender doesn't travel with Scotland squad

RANGERS defender John Souttar has not travelled with the Scotland squad to Yerevan.

The Ibrox centre-back came on as a substitute for the national team in the 3-0 loss to Ireland on Saturday.

But he has not travelled for the Nations League match against Armenia tonight as he was ruled out through injury.

The Scottish National Team social media accounts confirmed Souttar - along with Andy Robertson and Scott McKenna - did not fly out with their Scotland team-mates.

However, it's unclear how significant the injuries suffered by the trio are at this stage.

A statement after the team news dropped, read: "Scott McKenna, Andy Robertson and John Souttar did not travel to Yerevan with the team due to injury."

It comes as Steve Clarke made four changes to his side with Nathan Patterson among those coming in for tonight's fixture.

SCOTLAND XI: Gordon, McTominay, Hanley, Hendry; Patterson, McGregor, Gilmour, Taylor; McGinn, Armstrong, Adams
