DALLAS _ Southwest Airlines kicked off its annual fall fare sale Tuesday, with one-way fares going for as low $49.
The sale, which runs through Thursday, also offers fares starting at $79, $99 and $129, depending on the route.
In order to find the lowest prices, customers might have to do some hunting while remaining flexible with their travel plans _ departing on a Wednesday or Thursday, for example, or returning on a Monday or Tuesday.
For domestic travel, the sale covers trips from Oct. 31 to Dec. 19 and from Jan. 3 to Feb. 14. The Dallas-based company is also offering sales on international routes.
