Edinburgh pub named 'best place in city' to get a pint of Guinness

A Southside boozer has been named the best place for a pint of Guinness in Edinburgh ahead of St Patrick's Day this Thursday.

32 Below hidden away on West Nicholson Street has been named best in the capital for pouring a pint of the Irish stout.

The Irish brand has named a number of bars across the UK that are "Guinness approved" to celebrate St Paddys this week, with the city centre bar been named as the best place in Edinburgh.

They said: "Located beneath the famous Pear Tree pub, housed in one of Edinburgh’s most historic buildings, basement bar 32Below will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Day party to remember.

"The festivities will be complete with live entertainment from a trio band performing Irish hits, before ending the night with a DJ set.

"There’ll also be a flurry of merchandise giveaways, and green-themed face painting to help revellers look the part. "

To celebrate St Patrick's Day the Southside bar will have a live band on from 7pm - 9pm followed by DJ Paddy from 9pm - closing time at 1am.

There will also be free merchandise and face painting to get revellers in the mood for the exciting event you can contact the bar directly to book now.
