A young man from Southport has been stabbed to death in Spain and a manhunt is underway.
Spanish media has reported that a British man was found with fatal stab wounds on Thursday, October 1, after a fight broke out in Cuidad Quesada near Alicante on the Costa Blanca.
The Olive Press, which is a Spanish expat newspaper, reported that a police manhunt in now underway following the incident.
The ECHO understands that the victim is a young man from the Woodvale area of Southport, who is believed to be around 18 years old and well known in the Southport area.

The Olive Press reported that a fight broke out in Quesada during a house party. Local police have said the victim was 'stabbed in the neck.'
