Southport Air Show takes place in Merseyside this weekend with plane demonstrations and plenty of family activities.
The displays will be taking place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and involve military aircraft from across the world.
Thousands are expected to flood to Southport’s seafront to enjoy the entertainment - though this year it does not include the Red Arrows .
Gates for the show open at 6pm today, with a range of plane demonstrations planned.
