Saturday's 3-1 away win over fellow relegation candidates Huddersfield is far more important than the victory over Arsenal. Meanwhile, the Hammers' four-game winning run was ended by Watford.
Another home loss would see Saints also double their points tally for the season in three games, West Ham will not want the chasing pack to close the gap any further after a fine run earlier in December.

Team news
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will miss the game after picking up his fifth red card of the season, resulting in a one-match ban. Ryan Bertrand (back) is still not ready.
West Ham's injury troubles are not getting much better, though Lucas Perez (ankle), Javier Hernandez (thigh) and Fabian Balbuena (knee) will all be assessed ahead of kick-off.
Marko Arnautovic (thigh) could return before the end of December.
