Tottenham will renew their bid for a top-four finish in the Premier League when they face Southampton on New Year's Day.
Jose Mourinho's side currently sit sixth and five points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea after a home defeat by the Blues was followed by a Boxing Day win over Brighton and a 2019-closing 2-2 draw at relegation-threatened Norwich that saw Harry Kane net a late penalty at Carrow Road.
Kane also struck to secure victory for 10-man Spurs against Southampton in north London in September.
However, the Saints won this fixture last season and have been in improved form over the past couple of months, beating the likes of Aston Villa and Chelsea to climb to 15th in the table and four points clear of the relegation zone.
