Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made three changes as Manchester United headed to Southampton for the Premier League's early kick-off.
Injured duo Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw joined Jesse Lingard in dropping out of the team, with Juan Mata, Andreas Pereira and captain Ashley Young brought in.
Kevin Danso made his home debut for Southampton as Sofiane Boufal and Cedric Soares made their first league starts of the campaign.
