Premier League 2018-19

Manchester City must get back to winning ways to aid their failing Premier League title defence when they travel to Southampton on Sunday.

Team news

Manchester City could again be without Fernandinho, while Fabian Delph is suspended.

Midfielder Fernandinho has missed City's last two league outings - both defeats - with a thigh problem and will again be assessed while left-back Delph is beginning a three-match ban for his sending-off at Leicester.

Playmaker David Silva is back in action after coming off the bench on Boxing Day but left-back Benjamin Mendy (knee) and goalkeeper Claudio Bravo (Achilles) are still unavailable.

Mario Lemina will undergo a late fitness test ahead of Sunday's game after suffering an abdominal injury. Ryan Bertrand (back) is edging closer to a return.
