Liverpool have been handed a sizeable boost with the news that Virgil van Dijk has been passed fit to face former club Southampton on Friday.
The Dutch centre-back - whose case to be crowned as the world's best defender seemingly strengthens every week - was spotted limping and had an ice pack strapped to his ankle after receiving a kick during the win over Tottenham, but Klopp revealed at his pre-match press conference that he had trained as normal this week.
Liverpool's injury list has cleared, with only Joe Gomez (ankle) and long-term absentee Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain still missing.
Three wins from their last four have seen Southampton move five points clear of the drop at the bottom, but goals from the forward line have remained a problem.
Danny Ings returned after two months out in the win at Brighton but is unavailable to face his parent club once more.
Jannik Vestergaard was a last minute injury concern on Saturday and will undergo a late fitness test on Friday, Jack Stephens ready to step in if needed, while Shane Long is back in training. Mario Lemina remains unavailable having not featured since December.
