Southampton vs Crystal Palace
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: St Mary's
Date: Wednesday, January 30, 2019
Kick-off: 7:45pm GMT

Crystal Palace travel to the south coast to take on Southampton in their midweek Premier League clash.

Palace head to St Mary’s flying high after their FA Cup fourth round victory over Tottenham on Sunday.

Saints however have picked up back-to-back league wins this month to haul themselves level on points with the Eagles – with both sides just three points above the relegation zone ahead of kick-off.

Crystal Palace team news and provisional squad

Roy Hodgson will welcome back Wayne Hennessey and Vicente Guaita for their Premier League match against Southampton.

The goalkeeping duo have been absent for the last two games through injury, but are back available for Palace's trip to St Mary's Stadium.

Connor Wickham and Christian Benteke are also included in Hodgson's squad.

Provisional squad: Hennessey, Guaita, Speroni, Perri, Wan-Bissaka, Ward, Sakho, Kelly, Van Aanholt, Dann, Riedewald, Tomkins, Townsend, Kouyate, McArthur, Meyer, Milivojevic, Schlupp, Benteke, Ayew, Wickham.

Score prediction: Southampton 2-1 Crystal Palace

Palace have produced their best performances and recorded some of their best results of the season on the road.

Southampton are looking reborn under Ralph Hasenhüttl however and will be eager to make these showdowns at home count.
