Brighton and Southampton will battle it out in a match that could define their seasons for them.
While Southampton’s position isn’t as desperate as Brighton’s, the Saints have had unpredictable form recently as they have won two of their last five Premier League games.
Their poor performance against Manchester City nullified the great win over Sheffield last weekend and stopped them from climbing the table. A victory over Brighton would move them to at least 13th.
Despite Southampton’s form not being up to scratch, all the pressure will be on Graham Potter’s team as they could be in a relegation spot at the end of the weekend’s action following some poor results.
They have only won two points in their last five Premier League matches which has put them on the same points as Fulham after the Cottagers dealt Liverpool a loss last weekend.
