Southampton vs Arsenal: Kick-off time, how to watch, TV channel and live stream details

Arsenal will be looking to return to winning ways, after back-to-back defeats have swung the door back wide open in the race for the top four.

The Gunners started the week with a heavy defeat to Crystal Palace, before returning to the Emirates and losing to Graham Potter's Brighton, a side before the game without a win in seven and having failed to score in their last three Premier League fixtures.

This left the door ajar for their north London rivals, and they opened it in emphatic fashion, with Dejan Kulusevski and a Son Heung-Min hat-trick brushing aside Aston Villa on Saturday evening, and putting Spurs back in the top four.

And their recent slump in form could prove costly for Mikel Arteta's side, who now sit three points behind Spurs having played a game less, with the the north London derby looming. The Gunners' attempts at getting their Champions League ambitions back on track will see them travel to the South Coast to take on a Southampton side in desperate need of a win.

Following their excellent run over the festive period, Ralph Hasenhuttl's side have taken just one point from the last 15 available, with their latest result coming at the hands of Chelsea in a humiliating 6-0 defeat for the Saints.

And this could be a welcoming sign for the Gunners, having beaten the Saints in their last two home games in the Premier League. But, the Saints haven’t lost three consecutive home league games against Arsenal since a run of four between 1968 and 1971.
