Southampton have not fully regained their defensive solidity of last season – Ryan Bertrand’s return will help that – but they have found their groove offensively, unlike Swansea, whose strong start to the season has stalled a little as they have failed to find the net in their past three matches. Both sides will feel that a win here could kick-start the season and get them back on track for another high finish. Paul Doyle
