Southampton v Man United prediction, no penalty to be paid this time at St Mary's

United get the ball rolling this weekend, in the early kick-off at St Mary's.

Last season's two fixtures yielded nine goals, while United have only kept two clean sheets in their last 15.

Will goals be on the cards again? Check out our top punting preview from the writers who know United inside out. Charlotte Duncker delivers her verdict on the Saturday lunchtime kick-off.

Win, lose or draw?

United to win. It's a big price, too. Thepools.com offer 11/10 on the away win .

Who's a good bet for first scorer?

Marcus Rashford. He'll likely play as the central striker with Anthony Martial out injured and he's a tempting 9/2 first scorer   and 8/5 to score anytime .

Who's on the naughty step? (first card)

Scott McTominay.

Who's on pens?

It has become a familiar refrain in recent weeks. But the answer remains the same. Rashford. He may have missed against Crystal Palace but Solskjaer needs to stick with him.

Will United keep a clean sheet?

No.

United could win by a small margin but they showed against Palace they are vulnerable at the back and a lapse in concentration could let the home side in. Both Teams To Score is 7/10 while Both Teams To Score And Either Side To Win is 8/5 .
