Ryan Bertrand has pinpointed Manchester United's two biggest threats ahead of facing his Southampton side.
United travel to St Mary's on Sunday to face a Southampton side in good form and sat fifth in the Premier League despite missing star striker Danny Ings through injury.
Full-back Bertrand has made eight Premier League appearances for the Saints so far this season but knows his side need to put in a good performance to get anything against the Reds.
Speaking to Stretty News, the former Chelsea left-back said United's danger on the counter-attack led by Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes is the biggest threat to his side.
Whilst he admitted the Reds need to add more consistency to their game, Bertrand said the quality of players Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has at his disposal means they will always pose teams a tough test.
He said: "Manchester United are a great club with great individuals, it will be a tough game for us.
"They have shown some inconsistency but when they get it right they have had some amazing results.
"The threat on the counter is their biggest threat. They have many great individuals, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes seem to be their top performers so far."
Southampton sit five places above United with 17 points from nine matches.
The Reds can go one point behind Ralph Hasenhuttl's side with a win, having also played a game fewer than the Saints.
Yet that will be no easy task, with Southampton on a seven-match unbeaten run, which has included five wins and two draws.
Last time out, they drew 1-1 with Wolves.
