Keith Lasley believes Che Adams could be Scotland's secret weapon at the Euros this summer, especially against England.
The Motherwell coach has been impressed with the 24 year-old's acclimatisation to international football after he decided to play for Scotland in March.
The Southampton striker qualifies through a maternal grandparent and after making his debut against Austria, Adams scored his first Scotland goal against Faroe Islands.
He's been an impressive performer in the English Premier League this season and Lasley feels his experience of playing at the highest level could be vital.
“A big addition to that {the squad} has been Che Adams. I know there’s been a bit of debate around the fact that he knocked the country back in the past.
“I’m not sure exactly how that went, maybe at a younger age, and I’m not a massive fan of that myself.
“But he’s made an impact, even in those couple of games that he came in.
.

"He’s somebody that, particularly in the England game, is used to operating at that level and he knows the defenders from playing against them.
“I think he might end up being, not a wild card because he’s a top player, but somebody that’s come into the squad relatively recently and he could be the difference.
“At the end of the day, we are going to have to score goals to qualify and I just see Che Adams being that final part of the jigsaw.
“He’s a striker that can operate at that level and he can hopefully get us the goals for us to win games.”
