Only the East of England recorded fewer deaths, with 11.

Meanwhile, North East & Yorkshire once again confirmed the highest death toll of 57.

Midland's reported the second-highest jump, with 55.

Overall, 183 hospital deaths were confirmed today. Patients were aged between 52 and 95 years old. All except three (aged 84 to 93 years old) had known underlying health conditions.
