South Tamil Nadu reports two new Covid cases

Tamil Nadu Covid-19 Madurai Trichy

MADURAI/TRICHY: Two new Covid-19 cases were reported from the 10 southern districts of Tamil Nadu on Monday.

In Madurai, with no new cases or recoveries, the number of active cases remained at three. Tirunelveli district reported two fresh Covid-19 cases on the day.

Ramanathapuram, Tuticorin and Virudhunagar districts added one recovery each. The region has nine active cases, with Madurai (3) having the highest.

Trichy maintained its fresh cases of Covid-19 at zero on Monday. The Central region comprising nine districts reported one fresh case- from Tiruvarur.
