A South Shore man was killed and three others were wounded in a shooting at a party Sunday in south suburban Robbins.

Authorities responded to reports of multiple people shot just before 2 a.m. in the 13600 block of Central Park Avenue, where a large party had been going on for several hours, the Cook County sheriff’s office said in a statement.

James Barnes, 24, was shot in the head and pronounced dead at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in suburban Harvey, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Three other males were taken with gunshot wounds to local hospitals, the sheriff’s office said. Two were being treated for non-life threatening injuries and the third was treated and released.
