South Sefton police appeal for CCTV footage after catching a man interfering with a vehicle

Merseyside Police's South Sefton force have arrested a manon suspicion of interfering with a motor vehicle in Litherland.

Officers from the force's Operation Pelican dealt with the incident, which took place this morning (4 August) in the Ennerdale Road / Kirkstone Road South area of the town.

South Sefton police are asking anyone with a camera or CCTV that may have recorded footage of this incident, which took place at 1.50am, to get in touch by calling 101, quoting number 21000541308.

Interfering with a motor vehicle includes intent to steal the vehicle, or steal items from inside the vehicle. Generally, offenders are expected to pay a fine or could face a prison sentence.
