Nearly 8000 people have now signed up for the Beat the Street game in Rutherglen and Cambuslang.
The popular interactive contest has proved a real hit in the Royal Burgh, with this week's theme being called Go Travel, urging locals to think about walking or cycling to work or school rather than taking the car.
That means players in the game can clock up double points on Beat Boxes around traditional commuting hours.
Participants have already racked up almost 55,000 miles but organisers have stressed that it’s not too late to get involved in the free physical activity game.
You can still collect a card and map from one of the distribution points listed here, join a team and start playing!
Burnside Primary School is currently at the top of the total points leaderboard while green group Grow 73 are leading the average points leaderboard.
One of the Grow 73 team members, Iain Matheson, said: "I’m discovering corners of our community that my legs have never visited before."
Taking place until October 27, Beat the Street is transforming the two towns into a real-life game with players tapping special sensors called Beat Boxes dotted across the town.
Beat the Street is being delivered by Intelligent Health on behalf of South Lanarkshire Council (SLC) with support from South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture, Smarter Choices, Smarter Places and the Scottish Government.
SLC council leader, Councillor John Ross, told Lanarkshire Live: “This week is Go Travel week and we are challenging you to ditch the car and play Beat the Street on your way to work or school instead.
"You’ll be rewarded with double points around commuting hours.”
