South Lanarkshire leisure venues announce reopening dates

A number of leisure venues in Rutherglen and Cambuslang have announced reopening details.

South Lanarkshire Leisure & Culture Trust made the announcement as coronavirus restrictions ease

Among the dates are that the pitches at  Fernhill Community Centre pitches will be back from Monday September 21. However the changing facilities will remain closed.

Lifestyles Eastfield Fitness Classes  will resume on Monday September 14, but the swimming pools will still be shut.

Lifestyles Eastfield  gym will be back on Monday September 21.

Arts courses and classes and other limited activities only will start up again at Rutherglen Town Hall during September as well.

Grass pitches could reopen from October 1 as permission is granted for League competitions to resume.
