South Lanarkshire College has won a national award for its inclusivity and diversity practices in employment.
The college was shortlisted at the S1 Jobs Recruitment Awards and picked up the gong at virtual ceremony on August 26, which was hosted by Joel Dommett.
The college was shortlisted alongside companies such as Capital City Partnership, Springfield Properties and Together Energy Limited.
The judges commended its enhanced approach to equality, diversity and inclusion across all stages of the employee journey.
The college’s commitment to diversity and inclusion has been recognised through various engagements and awards recently including Disability Confident Employer, Carer Positive Engaged award and the LGBT Youth Scotland Silver award.
Its employment standards are also recognised by the Investors in People Platinum award, the Investors in People Health & Wellbeing award and Leaders in Diversity.
