A new Lidl supermarket opens in Newcastle this week.
Lidl will open for business in Benton Park Road, South Gosforth from 8am on Thursday September 26.
The German retailer is famed for value on groceries, as well as weekly 'middle aisle' specials on homeware, clothes, toys, tech and more.
The new Lidl takes over the former Wickes site in Benton Park Road, so will be handy for customers from Gosforth, Longbenton, High Heaton and nearby areas.
The store has a 1425m² sales area and features facilities such as an in-store bakery, longer-style tills with dual packing, customer toilet, baby changing and ample parking for both cars and bicycles.
This week's middle aisle deals include offers on home, pet and car essentials.
And, customers in South Gosforth can access exclusive deals for the shop's first week.
These include a 2-speed power drill (£9.99, RRP £19.99) from Thursday, September 26; bluetooth earphones (£9.99, RRP £19.99) from Friday, September 27 and a juicer (£16.99, RRP £29.99).
