South-east NSW and the ACT is braced for difficult fire conditions on Friday and Saturday.
The NSW Rural Fire Service has issued a warning to the south east of the state with widespread very high and severe fire dangers forecast.
While the ACT has focused most of its resources on the Orroral Valley fire, Emergency Services Agency Commissioner Georgeina Whelan said they were maintaining "situational awareness" of surrounding NSW fires.
These included fires burning west of the ACT such as the Dunns Road, Mary's Hill and Adaminaby Complex fires, as well as any spot fires that could flare up.
The Adaminaby Complex fire which came within 1.5 kilometres of the ACT border is "being controlled". The NSW RFS has warned there will be "hot, dry and windy conditions" on Friday and Saturday.

There will also be difficult conditions on the Dunns Road fireground on Friday. Crews used milder conditions last weekend to work on containment lines.
"Aircraft continue to assist with identifying hotspots and water bombing operations. Firefighters continue to extinguish identified hotspots," the Riverina Highlands RFS said.
The Mary's Hill fire, which burnt with 4.6 kilometres of the ACT border, is under control.
The Beard fire which broke out in Pialligo last week is at patrol status. There is no active hotspots on the fire ground but crews are still monitoring the area to ensure it does not flare up.
In the far South Coast, a new fire has posed a threat.
The 3300 hectare Creewah fire is currently burning out of control at Glen Allen, with weather conditions expected to deteriorate later this week.
"The fire is likely to spread, so people need to stay up to date," RFS Public Liaison Officer Andrew Dillon said.
