South Dublin residents left worried after freaky note delivered to houses in Tallaght

A freaky note which has been posted through the letterboxes of several houses in South Dublin has left locals extremely worried.

The cryptic piece of paper has been sending shivers down the spine of locals in Tallaght, Kilnamanagh and the surrounding areas who are confused as to what the letter is supposed to mean.

Residents have been tormented by the gibberish ramblings on which talks about drink, yeast and the Catholic Church.

Some have even alleged to have spotted the person delivering these notes on camera and that the person was "dressed in dark clothes" making it "hard to identify them".

The note is titled 'Yeast Easting' and states that "you need two houses to catch drunks".

It continues: "People want them out. People saying 'I forget who you are' to give them extra strong hangovers. Yes that is your neighbours.

"Yeast, Wikipedia. These two words are directions. To do your own study.

"I call what you have software. Too many other words have been used by the alcohol trade and the Christian Church."

The note concludes: "As it is known, they are homeless. Nothing left to do but help them along.

"This is when you can start pretending to walk on your bed. The most entertaining method is to rest straight on your back and do the most realistic walk possible."

Before long, it became clear that the same letter had been delivered to several places in the Dublin 24 area.

Homeowners in Elmcastle Green/Park, Redwood Avenue, Tamarisk Heights/Close/Grove and Birchview had received the message with most getting the delivery late at night.

People are being warned that if they receive one of these notes to immediately pass it on to Gardai.

They have also been told to pass on any CCTV footage in order to try and catch who is posting these letter and the possible meaning behind them.
