A man was injured after being hit by a car in a suspected hit and run in south London.
Officers were called took place on Catford Road at the junction with Canadian Avenue in Lewisham at around 3.30am.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man with "serious injuries".
He was taken to hospital and his condition has been deemed not life-threatening or life-changing condition.
A section of the South Circular was closed while police investigated the collision.
A Met Police spokesman said: "It is believed the pedestrian was in collision with a car which failed to stop at the scene.
"The road is closed while on-scene investigations take place."
