A South Chicago man who was involved in a vehicle crash near his home last month has died of his injuries.
Jerome Dickerson, 42, got into a crash about midnight March 22 in the 2600 block of East 79th Street, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. He lived in the neighborhood.
Dickerson died Thursday of complications of paraplegia due to the accident at South Shore Hospital, the medical examiner’s office said. Cardiovascular disease also contributed to his death, and the autopsy ruled his death an accident.
