Two children is South Belfast have raised over £200 on their front door with their own lemonade stand - for a great cause.
Siblings Nathan and Esther from Finaghy Road South have been spending their week selling their own homemade lemonade to raise money for disaster relief in Lebanon.
Esther, 7 and Nathan, 6 had been wanting to set up a shop in the front porch since the start of the summer holidays and this week they finally found the opportunity as Belfast faced the UK heatwave.
With a recipe from their granny and with help from their mum Rachel, Esther and Nathan made the lemonade in their kitchen and on Saturday set it out on a small table in their front porch.
Since then, the lemonade stand has seen many neighbours stop by for a drink.
"It's been really lovely, because you get to chat to people you've always seen but maybe don't know well" said Rachel. "It's turned out to be really popular and people have been so generous."
Esther and Nathan have even been paid visits from their friends at Finaghy Primary.
They have even ventured into making Christmas cards alongside the lemonade.
The money raised will all go towards efforts to help those affected by the recent explosion in Lebanon, as Rachel says they chose the charity Tear Fund because it helps aid relief for people in disaster-hit countries around the world.
She said: "I think there are so many little boys and girls out there that need help and so that's why we chose the Tear Fund - they provide relief for families after disasters.
"I think because people know it's going to a good cause they're so generous."
