A man is facing a drink-driving charge following a crash in South Belfast .
Police said the driver appeared to have made a lucky escape after a silver car was found in Piney Lane field in the early hours of Sunday, January 12.
No injuries were reported following the collision.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "A 35-year-old man has been charged with driving with excess alcohol in breath. He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Friday 7 February.
"As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service ."
