2019 South Alabama Football Schedule Analysis
– The Jaguars get to start out against Nebraska with a shot to see just how good they are, but after playing Jackson State, the rest of the non-conference slate isn’t a breeze, either. The Memphis game is a problem, and going up the road to face UAB in Birmingham is a problem. too. That game starts off a run of three road games in four.
– The Sun Belt season kicks off at ULM, but in the West, the Louisiana game is at home, and so is the regular season finale against Arkansas State. Going to Texas State is dangerous, but it comes after a week off.
– The biggest plus? Yeah, USA has to deal with Georgia Southern and Appalachain State from the East, but those are both home games. The date against Troy is on the road, but it comes after getting 13 days off. It stinks to miss Coastal Carolina, though.
