South African Olympian says "hell no" to testosterone lowering medication

Two-time Olympic champion Caster Semenya said she will not use any medication to lower her testosterone levels following a ruling from the the International Association of Athletics Federations newly overseeing testosterone levels in female athletes, reports Al-Jazeera.

Why this matters: The runner planned to return to Doha in September to compete at the world championships in the 800-meter, however the new rule would prevent her from participating. Semenya's legal team is weighing the option of appealing IAAF's decision, per Al-Jazeera.
