South Africa's farmers weary as avocados become ripe targets

FOCUS © FRANCE 24

Across the South African provinces of KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo and Mpumalanga, avocados and macadamia nuts have become prime targets for organised criminals, leading to millions of euros in losses for farmers. Our South Africa correspondents Caroline Dumay and Sam Bradpiece report.

A programme prepared by Patrick Lovett, Rebecca Martin and James Vasina.
