South Africa marks 25 years since the end of the apartheid

It has been 25 years since the end of apartheid in South Africa.

Much progress has been made since Nelson Mandela's rise to power in 1994, but that is not enough, according to critics of the ruling African National Congress (ANC).

As campaigning intensifies ahead of next month's general election, the ANC is accused of ignoring corruption and chronic poverty affecting many people in the country.
