A good night's rest is one of the key factors when it comes to preparation in professional sport, but South Africa 's players may well be lacking in that department when they face Wales on Saturday.
That's following reports the Springboks were forced to evacuate the Hilton hotel in Cardiff on two occasions in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The Springboks were staying in close proximity to the Principality Stadium, but that comfort came at a cost considering it also put them in the middle of Cardiff's city centre.
And according to SuperSport broadcaster Matt Pearce (as reported by Wales Online ), the reigning world champions were forced out of their rooms and onto the streets alongside Friday night partygoers after the fire alarm went off twice.
"Hello from test match day in Cardiff," Pearce posted on Twitter.

"At 03h58, a fire alarm in the [Springbok] team hotel, everyone evacuated for some forced mingling with departing night-clubbers on the pavement in the cold. 20 minutes later, back into hotel to go back to sleep. 07h20… repeat, (without the clubbers)!"
Hilton have yet to respond to a request for comment on the incident.
It's hardly the ideal start to South Africa's weekend in Cardiff, with head coach Jacques Nienaber hoping to guide the team to their first win on Welsh soil since 2013.
The Springboks emerged 19-16 victors when these teams met in the semi-finals of the 2019 Rugby World Cup, going on to beat England in the decider to lift the Webb Ellis Cup.

South Africa pipped New Zealand 31-29 when they were last in action at the beginning of October, while Wayne Pivac's men suffered a 54-16 humbling at the hands of the All Blacks last Saturday.
Wales have been boosted by the return of their Premiership stars this week, but questions still remain as to whether the hosts have enough to extend their eight-year unbeaten home streak in this fixture.
