South Africa eases some Covid-19 restrictions as vaccines arrive

In tonight's edition: South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa says the country has "passed the peak" of its second wave of Covid-19, allowing for the easing of restrictions ahead of the first vaccinations this month. Also, the UK brings in its first sanctions against Zimbabwe by announcing asset and travel bans against four security chiefs over the deaths of 23 people during crackdowns in 2018 and 2019. Finally, we see how Kenyan giraffes are being rescued from rising water levels on Lake Baringo.
