Soulja Boy‘s manager has denied a woman’s claims that she was kidnapped by the rapper and tied up for six hours.
According to TMZ, a woman named Kayla contacted police claiming that she was at the rapper’s home in Agoura Hills, Los Angeles, on the night of Friday, 1 February. At around 2.30am the next Saturday, she claims the pair started arguing and she was told to leave.
Kayla, who claims to have been dating Soulja Boy, then alleges that she attempted to leave the property in her car and clipped the curb, further alleging that the rapper’s assistant witnessed her action and became “agitated”.
Soulja Boy then allegedly attempted to break up the fight, but Kayla claims he punched and kicked her while she was on the ground, before taking her inside the home’s garage and tying her to a chair with an extension cord. It is alleged she was tied up for six hours.
Sources claim she was later released, went home, and contacted police on Saturday morning. She is then claimed to have gone to the hospital where she was treated for her injuries and was discharged on Saturday night. Kayla claims she has 3 fractured ribs and a concussion.
Local law enforcement has acknowledged that a kidnapping report was filed Saturday morning and that there is ”an active investigation”, but did not divulge the name of the suspect or alleged victim.
Soulja Boy’s manager has said he was not able to reach the rapper but has insisted the claims are false, as the rapper “always calls me if there’s any problem, and he did not call.”
A representative for the rapper has been contacted for further comment.
