A new Italian cafe has recently arrived in the heart of the Merchant City serving up beautiful-looking breakfasts, brunches and lunches.
Sorriso started welcoming in customers at the beginning of last week, opening its doors for the very first time at 81 Candleriggs.
Promising food 'prepared with love, kindness, and attention to detail', menu items include Nutella and strawberry croissants, Calabrian omelette, scrambled eggs on sourdough and eggs benedict with parma ham.
As with any good brunch venue, Sorriso prides itself on 'fine-roasted coffee which promises to make your mornings conquerable!', while it also has a full mocktail menu featuring the likes of Bellinis, Mimosa Sunrises and Raspberry Mojitos.
There's some classic Italian sandwiches too such as the Caprese and Prosciutto, and, for those with a sweet tooth, you'll find mouthwatering desserts including tiramusu, affogato and ricotta cheesecake.
Announcing their opening, the team behind Sorriso say: "Freshly established in 2021, Sorriso Cafe aims to bring a taste of the authentic Italian feel and aroma to the otherwise busy citizens of our dear Glasgow."
Sorriso is open Monday - Sunday, 9am - 5pm.
