Sopranos star's x-rated message to Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers fans

Joseph R. Gannascoli, who played Vito Spatafore in the hit show Sopranos, has a delivered an x-rated rallying call to Dundalk football club.

The ‘Town’ meet Shamrock Rovers in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division on Friday night as the two most recent league champions face off.

Michael Imperioli as Christopher Moltisanti, Joseph R. Gannascoli as Vito Spatafore and James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano in The Sopranos (HBO, Supplied by Pacificcoastnews.com)

And Vito, draped in Dundalk colours, has come out firmly behind the troubled Lilywhites for Irish Celebrity Video shoutout site irishify.com.

It’s firmly in the Not Safe For Work category as the star of the Sopranos uses a lot of colourful language from the cult HBO mafia show.

Vito wants to see struggling Dundalk beat “the Shams like Tony beat Ralphie up” before stating that he plays soccer with a “f****** bat” despite his 350 pound weight.

The bizarre video has been a hit with League of Ireland fans on social media with Gannascoli calling Dundalk “the best in the greatest f****** league ever”.
