A teenage girl reported missing in Gorebridge on Thursday has been found.
Sophie Webster (14) was reported missing in the Midlothian village on 19 December and an urgent appeal was issued in a bid to locate her whereabouts.
Officers wanted anyone who thought they'd seen her, or who has any information as to her whereabouts, to come forward.
And on Friday Midlothian Police confirmed that she had now been traced safe and well, while thanking members of the public for their assistance.
