Game Of Thrones actor Sophie Turner says she is content that co-star Kit Harington earned more than her on the show – because he did more work.
Sophie, 23, is said to make £158,000 per episode playing Sansa Stark in the epic series.
But top stars like kit, 32, who plays Sansa’s illegitimate brother Jon Snow, have reportedly had a bumper pay rise, taking them from £370,000 to £537,000 an episode.
Ahead of the eighth and final series, starting on Sky Atlantic on April 14, Sophie said: “Kit got more money than me, but he had a bigger storyline.

“For the last series, he had something crazy like 70 night shoots and I didn’t have that many. I was like, ‘You keep that money’.”
Brit Sophie, who is engaged to singer Joe Jonas, 29, also revealed their wedding this summer will be a small affair.
“We’re trying to keep it as low-key as possible so it’s more intimate,” she said.

“He’s lovely. He’s just the funniest. You wouldn’t expect he’s about to turn 30.
“He’s the most fun, energetic, positive person I’ve ever seen.
“I’m pessimistic, so we balance each other out.”
Sophie is on the cover of the May edition of Harper’s Bazaar UK magazine , which is out on Thursday.
