Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are reportedly heartbroken after one of their beloved dogs has been 'killed by a car'.
Game of Thrones star Sophie had a couple of Alaskan Klee Kai dogs with singer Joe and TMZ has reported that one of them, Waldo, has been killed after he was 'struck and killed by a car'.
The accident happened on Wednesday, while their dog walker was taking the hounds on a route around Lower East Side of Manhattan in New York City.
It has been alleged that Waldo was on a lead when the dog was 'spooked by a pedestrian'.
The dog then broke free and ran into the street, where it was struck by a vehicle and was killed.
A representative for Joe has told TMZ that it was a "freak accident."
Despite it happening on Wednesday, the newly married couple only went to police to report the incident on Friday.
TMZ has reported that the delay was down to the pair being 'distraught' by the death and have had turned to a therapist as they were 'so torn up by the incident'.
Waldo, who was dubbed Waldo Picasso Jones by Sophie, was an Instagram star, wracking up over 45,000 followers in the 12 months since the page began.
Thousands of fans have left messages of condolence to Sophie and Joe on the only pic that was posted to the page.
There was another dog from the same litter, Porky, and he was seen being walked by Joe, just 24 hours after the tragic incident.
