Sophie Kasaei in tears over agonising secret health battle

Sophie Kasaei has shed some light on her agonising secret health battle.

The Geordie Shore star, 30, broke down into tears as she opened up on her excruciating fight with endometriosis.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Sophie explained that her painful condition feels as though someone is "stabbing you in your ovaries".

The reality TV star wiped her flooding tears away from her face as she insisted that she could no longer live with the pain which is crippling her every single day.

Sophie told her 2.1 million fans that she was eagerly awaiting for lockdown restrictions to be eased so she can finally access the treatment she so badly needs.

The distressed star cried: "Obviously anyone who suffers from endometriosis, like it's so painful.

"I've just done a PT session and I had to leave because the pain I've just felt driving home - honestly, I can't describe that pain.

"Like it's the most excruciating pain, like someone's got a knife and stabbing you in your ovaries. It's absolutely horrendous. I'm still shaking because it's just so painful.

Geordie Shore favourite Sophie insisted that she wants to use her platform to discuss the realities of living with the health issue.

Sophie confessed: "I just want to talk about endometriosis because it's so painful when you're on your period.

"I'm usually all right in the month but when the time comes, I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

"I just can't wait for this to be sorted. I can't wait for the Covid thing to be over because I can't live with this pain."

Endometriosis occurs when the lining of the womb grows elsewhere in the body.

This causes inflammation, pain and formation of scar tissue which can significantly impact daily life for women who battle this condition.

Symptoms of endometriosis can vary in intensity but include painful, irregular or heavy periods, fatigue and infertility.

Sophie revealed her endometriosis diagnosis back in March when she vowed to use her social media presence to help others suffering.

She took to Twitter to share the sad news when she wrote: "I also have #endometriosis ! It's such a sad condition that I don't even no much about tbh".

After she was inundated with messages of support from her fans she said she was hoping to be there for anyone else going through the same.

Sophie added: "Guys honestly it means so much to me that you are all supporting my recent news about finding out I have #Endometriosis.

"I still don't no too much about my condition but I promise I will learn more and help and support any other girls going through this. Love you".
