The mum of Love Island star Sophie Gradon has hit out at ITV for allowing her daughter to take part in the reality show despite knowing about her mental health issues.

He said the combination of the substances could have affected her ability to think rationally, and made it clear he was not recording a suicide ruling.
It was also said Sophie had been suffering from depression and anxiety, and was taking medication for it.
Now her mum Deborah has accused ITV of "exploiting the vulnerable" and criticised the channel for allowing her daughter to go on Love Island despite knowing about her mental health issues.
She also claimed producers had approached Sophie to appear on Jeremy Kyle following her stint on Love Island in 2016.
She made the comments on Twitter after the Jeremy Kyle Show Jeremy Kyle Show permanently cancelled after guest's death following the death of a guest.

On Wednesday morning, ITV announced the programme Jeremy Kyle Show permanently cancelled after guest's death .
Talking about the channel, Deborah wrote on Twitter on Tuesday: "Exploiting the susceptible, using someone unfairly for your own advantage, imposing on their vulnerability. This sickens me to the pit of my stomach.
"Sophie Gradon was screened by a psychologist who identified she had issues with mental health.

"Producers even ensured her meds were delivered to the Villa knowing they could manipulate her and get inside her head.
"When will this misuse of the vulnerable stop, it's the most evil & puerile form of entertainment."
She went on to say: "It’s a theatre of bloody cruelty and it’s no coincidence that Sophie Gradon was actually approached and asked to appear on the Jeremy Kyle show to continue the fiasco of the Love Island ignominy.
"Shame on you ITV."
