Sophie Gradon's Love Island co-star Malin Andersson said the tragic star's fatal drinking spiral was sparked by their struggles with fame.
An inquest into Sophie's death today ruled that the 32-year-old took her own life by hanging - but only because the cocktail of cocaine and booze she'd consumed had skewed her thinking.
Coroner Eric Armstrong said: "There's a good deal of concern at the moment because of the consequences of taking alcohol and using cocaine... [which] appears to give rise to violent thoughts.
"In America, there's research which suggests that anyone who takes cocaine and alcohol is 16 times more likely to die by suicide."

And Malin, 26, previously told Mirror Online they turned to drink in a bid to cope with the emotional fallout of fame after starring in the 2016 series - and the callous trolling that comes with it.
"Sophie hated it, she was like, ‘Malin, I hate it, I’m always getting trolled, what do you do?’ And we would drink, she would drink, go out and party."
Malin - who suffered unimaginable heartbreak when her newborn daughter Consy died in March - said the endless partying took its toll on their emotional state, making a bad situation seem 10 times worse.
"If you go out, you do drugs, mix cocaine with alcohol and the next day is a comedown," Malin said.
"I can’t say what she was doing because I don’t have a clue. Even from alcohol the comedown the next day is like, ‘f*** my life’.

"If things are already bad then they’re going to be even worse aren’t they? They’re magnified."
Sophie's lifeless body was discovered by boyfriend Aaron Armstrong on June 20, 2018, after she failed to reply to his messages. He was so traumatised that he took his own life in similar circumstances three weeks later.
The hearing heard how she spent her final hours messaging a male friend and telling him she was having suicidal thoughts.
Toxicology tests showed former Miss GB Sophie had a blood reading of 201mg per 100ml of blood - around three times the legal driving limit, as well as cocaine.
Coroner Eric Armstrong said research in the US said the combination was known to make someone 16 times more likely to kill themselves.
He said: "If Sophie's death is to serve any purpose at all, that message should go out far and wide."
His conclusion was that: "Sophie Hannah Gradon, having consumed alcohol and cocaine took her own life by hanging."
