Girl, 14, found after Sophie Ellis-Bexter appeals for help from public

A 14-year-old girl has been found after an appeal to the public from Sophie Ellis-Bexter.

The star, 43, had urged the public to help find Clementine Reardon, a daughter of a friend, who went missing on Thursday, April 21.

Richmond Police confirmed on Twitter early this morning that the teen has been located and is "safe and well".

The teenager had not been seen since leaving her home in Twickenham earlier this week - and concerns for the missing youngster were growing.

Metropolitan Police had released multiple appeals to try and find her.

However this morning Clementine's dad took to social media to share the good news, MyLondon reports.

He wrote: "We are delighted to be able to confirm that Clementine has been found. We wanted to thank everyone for their support and help in locating her, we have been overwhelmed and we are so grateful."

On Saturday morning, Sophie tweeted: "This is a friend's daughter so please let the police know if you see Clementine. Likely to be round Twickenham area."

Other stars also shared tweets asking for the public to let her family know if they see her.

Actress Georgia Tennant wrote: "Ok team I need your help. My dear friends daughter is missing. Her name is Clementine, born 2007 and is missing from her home in Twickenham.

"If you have any information, or if you see her, please call police on 101 with reference to 22MIS013222."

Actor James Purefoy wrote: "URGENT IN LONDON. Has anyone seen Clementine, 14, from Twickenham, London? Missing since Thursday.

"Please call Police on 101 if you have any information at all. Retweet far and wide."

Broadcaster James O'Brien also appealed for information.
