Sony Michel posts celebratory Instagram post; Todd Gurley responds

For former Georgia running back Sony Michel, this past Sunday was one of the greatest days of his life, as he rushed for 94 yards and the game-winning touchdown in the Patriots Super Bowl victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

But for fellow Bulldog Todd Gurley, February 3rd was one the toughest days for the superstar running back. Being so close to achieving your lifelong dream and coming up short is painful, especially since he could not play as big of a part in the game as he would have liked.

However, that did not stop Gurley from paying his respect to Michel and showing him some love on social media.

On Tuesday, Michel posted a photo on Instagram posing with the Lombardi Trophy. And Gurley, though he just went through one of the toughest losses imaginable in sports, still showed he was proud of his Georgia teammate.

Underneath the caption you can see Gurley’s comment showing respect for Michel. And FYI, right below Gurley’s comment is one from another damn good dawg, Tavarres King.

Michel responded with a “100” emoji. Dawgs are brothers for life.
